Summation The industry standard for managing transcripts and evidentiary documents, and organizing case data. Our flagship integrated litigation support system with all of the above enhancements. Supports imaging formats in Group IV TIF, single and multi-page, JPEG, BMP, and WMF.

Companion databases, while not accessible over the Internet as with iBlaze remote databases, still give you the flexibility to have multiple local databases for a single case. The multiple database can consist of different document collections stored on your desktop or local computer, or on your local area network (A.Q. about our secure, concurrent user network systems). So your most important documents could be stored in your core Summation Blaze database, whereas auxiliary document collections, such as all company marketing materials for the last three years, could be stored in a separate Summation database (SBP), MicroSoft SQL Server (MS SQL), or Microsoft Access (Jet) database associated with the case.

Concordance Successful legal teams know that winning cases don't happen by accident. It takes the right skills, the right information, and the right tools. Now you can strengthen your case by using the latest and very best in litigation management technology--Concordance 8. From beginning to end, Concordance 8 gives you more control of the discovery process--with evidence organized and shared the way you want it, searches conducted the way you need them, and a boost in productivity that is sure to be noticed.

Worldox Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) provide an organization with the tools to create, manage, control, and distribute electronic documents. Before going further, this would be a good place to define what we mean by "document." In the context of EDMS (or "the EDMS space" to use the latest buzz terminology), a document is essentially a file. A file, in this usage, is an electronic, digital container for information. A document may be a word processing file, or it may be a graphic image, or any other discrete, identifiable information unit that can exist within a computer system.

Traditionally, operating systems such as DOS and Windows have failed to offer the tools and resources necessary for managing documents. The principal case in point is the paltry 8+3 file naming constraints enforced by DOS and Windows 3.x. Not until Windows 95 did the Microsoft+Intel platform offer the possibility of long, "descriptive" file names.
